I don`t know which gun to choose from nor cant find "my" gun. Basically what i will be doing:

-Playing Outdoor fields alot. (Mostly GodFather)

-Firing in cover. (Camping as what some of you call it)

-running (I dont want to carry a heavy gun around everywhere) (Im only 5' and weigh 100Lbs)

-I will be close to the opposite team not 200ft away.maybe 70-130ft

This probably doesnt make sense but here you go.

also..

Im looking for a gun that:

-Full Metal (doesnt have to be)

-durable

-Has a railing system. (for attachments)

-high ROF

-And good range

-upgradeable

-Armed Force style weapons (MP5,M4 etc)

My budget for Just a gun is 160$

Is this a hard budget? I know you said it's optional but, I don't think you can get very much full metal for less than $200.

I'm 5'5" and my primary is a 7 year old UTG MP5. I find it to be a very comfortable gun to field from an ergonomic perspective. It is light weight, and very maneuverable. However, that particular model only does ~290 +/-10 FPS with .2's and does not have the best range. Also, I don't see it in stock anywhere after a quick google search, and after looking at ASGI and Evike, MP5's will run you ~$200.

Have you considered AK47 variants?
I have found that many of those are reasonably compact and portable.
CYMA makes AK47 variants in your price range, and I've heard them reviewed favorably.
Descent ROF, but I don't think they are upgradable, and I don't see one with a rail system.

Redfox has a good point, a CYMA or DBoys made AK-74U is very compact and full metal.

You should also consider buying a G&G polymer bodied

An M16 based platform under $160 that I can recommend is this AGM. It's a budget gun with average parts but it should be reliable as long as you don't abuse it or put in a battery that's over 10 volts (a 7.4v Lipo or 9.6v NiMH would be ok).

Hi guys,

Anyone have an opinion about the quality of Umarex GBB Pistols? I'm looking to get a Walther PPQ but I don't have any experience with Umarex.

I just purchased a "red jacket" branded Umarex CO2 1911 for cold weather use. Shoots about 250-260 with .25s. Have only run a dozen or so mags through it ( almost 5 reloads on one CO2 cyclinder) but it's built well. ( I always dis-assemble gbbs prior to use and re-lube everything that wasn't ).

Thanx Mark.

I wanted that Red Jacket 1911 but didn't get it because it was CO2. Is it as sweet as it looked?
