I personally would recommend a metal ICS m4. The external quality is amazing, and the internal quality is top notch. I've been using my ICS M4 S-System SIR Pro for a couple of years now and I have not run into a single problem with it. On top of that, ICS has tons of different M4s, some of which would fit a Devgru role perfectly. On top of that, you're only looking at about a $280 price tag, so you'll have some money left over for accessories or upgrades.Broadsword wrote:I need a good M4 to fit a DEVGRU roll that is solid and works great internally (im not good with internals, but im your man externally) because i probably wont do much upgrading myself. It needs to be solid and like I said, good stock internals. I also dont want a gun like the GI G4 series where its just good externals and nice externals (magpul for example). I have a pretty wide price range (350-450) to spend stock. Please help me out. Thanks!

Hey,
Do you think its wise to buy a Tokyo Marui SOCOM (Recoil Shock) M4A1? My main purpose for it is general long-medium range skirmishes, but if I choose it, it's basically a "sign" of friendship with a certain someone. I will definitely NEVER open it, as in I will never disassemble, upgrade, or modify it in any way, shape, or form. (besides taping mags together)
And since I didn't know where to put this, here's a small, unrelated side question. (personal preference) Do you think I should get a Tokyo Marui SOCOM M4A1 (just the gun and box) or a Marushin 1911 Dual Maxi Ver. 2 (with a spare mag and rounds) for a gift to a close relative? Thanks.

1. A SOCOM length M4 is not a long range gun
2. All Tokyo Marui fires below 290fps which again is not optimized for long-medium range accuracy
As to whether you should get a TM AEG or a Marushin pistol? If you plan to actually play airsoft, get the TM. A Marushin fire 8mm BBs and ejects shells, both of which are impractical to use in airsoft games.

I am in need of a new primary and settled on an m16. I was wondering if any of you could tell me which of these guns is better than the other and why, VFC E series m16, KWA m16br, or G&P Supreme grade m16a3. I play outdoor, I do not plan on upgrading anything until something breaks in the gun, i will not be using a lipo, easy to upgrade in future. Thanks for reading.

G&P has a better track record for internals than VFC though some say VFC has better externals. KWA may have better performance but their body is meh in comparison to either G&P or VFC.
