Any paintball mask is strong enough for airsoft use. But you may find some masks interfere with your cheek weld and aiming with the guns sights.Baron Von Chaos wrote:Can the Dye i4 mask be used for airsoft

AND paintball masks tend to fog up faster due to the air coming from the bottom and hitting the top of your goggles.Moondog wrote:Any paintball mask is strong enough for airsoft use. Re: Dye i4 mask
To clarify, it's your breath being trapped by the mask that causes the fogging...and wearing things on your head...and looking down...and not having a coat of Moondog Defog.

Re: Dye i4 mask
I have been playing paintball since 1995 until present.
New to airsoft, but I know about paintball goggles/mask.
I currently use a DYE I4 and IMO, it's very good, very light, don't fog up, easy to chang lens, can withstand serious close up paintball hits.
Cons; Don't fit every face, no forehead protection, cost.
Check out the reviews.

This is one of the few paintball masks IMO that works great for airsoft its the lowest profile paintball mask out there and these really never fog up dye thermal lenses are amazing . they even have a Multicam type color , and the field of vision is great as well .

DYE i3 Goggles are the bomb. I have been using them for the last couple of months as a change up to my ESS ones. Working out nicely and biggest issue is condensation for me, but No fog which is a plus.
