NEW! Ops-Core Base Jump Helmet (REPLICA!)

Post by primer »

So I was parusing the internet and I found that a small company out of Beijing was selling replicas of the new Ops-Core Base Jump helmets for $60.
They are TOTALLY worth it:

So get your hands on these before they decided to take them off the market!!

Good lord, Primer!

You know that demotivational pictures with all the crap photoshopped to the rails of the gun? The new joke is on your head. In the small pic I thought that giant box on the right side was your iPhone...

I was wondering, how is the sizing on the helmet? I typically wear a 6 7/8 new era cap (if that helps) or 54.9-56cm, and was wondering if this replica would fit properly. No use spending $60-$80 if it's going to look like i'm wearing a bucket. I'm currently running a Protec Alpha helmet (size small) from pthelmets.com and was looking to a new rig so i can run comms comfortably.
If it's a penny for your thoughts, and you put your two cents in, what happens to the other penny?

I believe they come in two sizes & are adjustable, S/M & M/L. Check out the links & see what they have available, but keep in mind that these helmets are hot sellers & may be out of stock. Post back here if you cant find one.

I just looked over these:

http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?c ... s_id=37345

http://www.thebeijingshop.com/fma-jump- ... p-782.html

http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/product_ ... ts_id=1241 - Sold Out

Neither have anything listed for sizing other than 'adjustable'. If they are true to size, I'm looking for more of a S/M as per Ops-Core sizing, but if they run small, then I can go with the M/L.

To be honest with you, I don't know how the clones run as far as sizes go. The only parts not from opscore.com on my helmet are the shell, one rail & the pads. I have standard ach/mich pads in mine & the retention (chin strap) system is different. The strap system I have goes by sizes. http://www.ops-core.com/ACH_Head-Loc_84 ... _P2C20.cfm
I actually found the opscore version that should provide you with some information as far as how the dialer sizes go. http://www.ops-core.com/ACH_Occ-Dial_Li ... _P9C20.cfm
Good luck & I hope you find the helmet that works for you. If not, you can use your Protec, follow my guide & make your own! 8-)
