First loadout

Post by Blackiechan666 »

Hello everyone! Since I'm relatively new to airsoft I have been slowly building up my first loadout. Here is what I have so far.
Edit: I cannot figure out how to upload pictures from my macbook. Can someone please help?

I have Propper woodland bdu's, a cheap tag pistol holster (for now), and a random camera pouch that houses my dual magazine. I plan on getting the following items:

If anybody can critique or give me suggestions or tips that would be great. This isn't going to be for milsim and I am not going for an impression so I don't need super high end gear. Thank you.
What are my interests you ask? Airsoft, Airsoft, Airsoft, ummmm did I mention Airsoft?

Be careful with those cheap universal pistol holsters.

I had one, and lost 2 magazines on 2 different occasions, once at ET Paintball and once at Stikeforce. They are notorious for lettings magazines fall out of the pistol.

Get a Blackhawk or Safariland holster specifically designed for your gun. They are more money, but definitely worth it. Loosing a magazine sucks big time, and at $30-$40 a pop, you better protect your investment.

See the RULES section for instructions on how to post photos. You can't directly link photos from you desktop because we can't get direct access to your computer (nor would you want that because it would expose your computer to hackers). You have to use a photo hosting service.

Please use the photobucket feature that allows you to copy-and-paste IMG code for Thumbnails. Check out the tutorials on the Photobucket website. This will allow you post photos as others have and have them visible in your post.

Concerning your question, an "impression" by definition is an attempt to create a loadout that imitates the look of a real world soldier or operator. So any military impression will require specific kinds of camo or gear and usually is not cheap.

Since you have a woodland BDU and no branch of US troops use them anymore you're options could be:

1) Early 1990's US Army soldier - you will need army surplus LBV webbing and pouches which are dirt cheap at ArmyNavyDeals.com or Ebay

2) PMC (wearing the woodland pants only with a polo shirt)
