The firing pin is lined up right. I've even had trouble hand detonating the grenade
Borrow or buy another shell and see if that fixes it.

If I can get my hands on a launcher for a reasonable price, I will try what your talking about doing. I think a bit of brain storming, some pvc pipe & a dremel all things are possible... Not to mention a bag of Shape-loc! ;)

i wantred to make the madbull into a standalone nade launcher but it looks like it wont be possible. so it looks like im going to tuff it out or sell it and get the iron airsoft varriat that just came on evike.

http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37777

Im basically trying to have a GL that can be used attached to the gun and when needed detached. carrying around a 15 pound gun all day is kinda tiring and not practical in cqb situations

Honestly, a launcher is only going to give you fashion points with some people, others will say exactly what you just did... "why is he lugging around extra weight?" I think a launcher would probably serve better in a cqb environment.

So it would be a good idea to suck it up and just use my launcher when I feel I need it

The thing is I just want to take it off the gun and make it a stand alone to have it just in case I need. U kno those times when uve got a few guys posted up in a position. One nade can equal 4+ kills

Do u think it Ull come in handy at bad blood?

Keep in mind, a grenade and an airsoft grenade launcher are two vastly different things. A grenade can be thrown physically, and upon impact will either make a loud bang or spray bbs in a large radius, depending on if you go thunder B or Tornado.

A grenade launcher doesn't actually fire a shell, it just fires a massive spread of bbs in the general direction of in front of you.

This makes for a few key differences in effectiveness for both.

The grenade can be used long range (it's effective range is as far as you can throw it), has a kill radius of probably 10-20 feet, and is tactically versatile (boobytraps and such) since they are activated by a pin. It is most effective when throwing it into a bunker, or at a cluster or enemies.

The launcher's effective range is more like ranging from 5 feet to about 50 feet (though at 50 feet your chances of actually hitting someone are iffy). It requires a direct line of sight to target (if they're behind cover it won't do shit other than scare them), and will fire as soon as you pull the trigger.

For large field games such as Bad Blood, a launcher won't really be useful unless you manage to get the drop on someone from above/behind. If they see you, they'll have shot you before you can get into effective range.

Thanx for the advice and i do know the difference between a launcher and a nade. I thought about getting a tornado but they are so expensive. I'll bring my GL just in case

You could always just get a set of Thunder B's for a fraction of the price, just as effective.

Very very true!!! My friends on my team swear by them. My only problem is I know how curious my friends are when they come over and how Boring college can be at times ;) better safe than sorry. Also I spend most of my time on campus with allot of pranksters; no need in giving them ammo

Just hide the firing pin + spoon, those two are very small parts that will fit in any hiding spot. The plastic bodies and co2 cartridges themselves can't do any damage, unless your friends are dumb enough to puncture the co2 cartridge. In which case, your SOL.
