If you're only looking for the burst feature, it does the job pretty well. As for preventing trigger arcing no. It is not a true mosfet so you are still running the risk of burning your trigger contacts.

For mechanical triggers like on my STEN with only Full Auto, the Swiss arms burst unit works like a champ. It does have a cut off for low battery power which is nice too. Having 5 round burst or being able to go Semi in certain matches made the gun a fun use for a game.

Other rifles with mechanical switches and full auto only might make this a good snag for someone as well.

I was too late! my motor quit due to arcing. it is either my motor or my wires.NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
