Multiple uniforms and gear

Post by sonic »

Hey gear whores, how many people have complete sets of tac gear to match different uniforms? I am considering a black/urban cammie set, but of course that won't match my woodland or desert gear. Just look for an idea on what others are sporting for different uniform choices. Thanks.

I just run different gear for different guns. If one set is more suited to a different uniform, then that's the gun I run.

I have a bunch of gear.

For tan/multicam I use my Multicam Plate carrier & battle belt.

For Woodland/OD green/Tiger Stripe I use my SOE (Yes, the SOE before it came "Original SOE") CQB Vest.

For Asian impressions (Chinese PLA type 03 Tibet Flecktarn, Green PLA soldier, or PLA-N Marine camo), I use a Chicom rig.

I keep a kit for different games. Tan is multicam (my favorite), green is woodland, black is urban & pmc loadouts go with either jeans or cargo type pants. Thats just my personal prefference, but you have many options available now. I am considering replacing my urban kit with the A-tacs LE pattern.

I have a full ATACs loadout and a full ACU, but I have no issue mixing and matching similar tones to support different gear. Generally similar color pallets work perfectly well together for camouflage purposes, they just don't look as pretty or professional in pictures compared to a matching loadout.

Uniforms - Multicam, ACU, and just put together a British DPM kit in both woodland and desert.

Have some ACU gear etc and a few woodland pieces to go with the DPM stuff (including a real Brit helmet - thanks Primer ). Otherwise my mainstay gear is Coyote Tan.

Cracker has the same but just put together this one w/ Christmas presents :

I used to have multiple kits... before my haitus from airsoft... which has ended.... LOL.

Building a FG Kit right now.

But yes, I had a Full British DPM loadout sans L85.
And multiple other uniforms, mostly matching the current required camo for the operation I was attending.

If I had the room I'd have a different rig for each camo set. I economize like Headkill mostly due to lack of space. I use a coyote brown chest rig for all my contemporary impressions. I dyed a ChiCom chest rig black so now I can use it both for my SWAT or Vietnam loadouts. This is also what I usually wear for CQB events as it can be rolled up and fits in my luggage carrier.
