KJW M9 bbs dropping out of barrel when pointed downwards

Post by Sleeper »

So as the title says it's a pretty simple issue but I have no idea why it is doing that, has this happened to anyone else? The slide still goes back as if it is shooting, but when pointed downwards the BB will fall out and need to recycle another round in order to fire a shot

I thought it was just my new 52rnd Hi cap mag but now it happens in the stock mag too, I don;t recall this happening when I first got the gun a couple months ago and i haven't used it that much

Many pistols have a fixed hop up at the beginning of the barrel. This serves to put some spin on the BB and hold it for firing.

When the slide goes forward after firing or cocking, it strips the BB off the top of the magazine and loads it into this chamber and is held there by the hop.

Yours is probably worn out.
