These rules allow for convenient mobile respawn locations in large fields to replace or supplement permanent respawn locations. These rules were originally developed for OP:Bad Blood but may be used in other events.
RESPAWN and TRIAGE
1. The Respawn Officer (ie. Embed Ref) will direct your faction’s mobile respawn known as the TRIAGE
- The Embed will collect dead players together into a TRIAGE GROUP with a player holding an identifiable respawn marker
- Triage players will wear their red rags prominently while in the Triage
- The Triage will stay well away from their faction’s frontline and will follow their Embed at a discrete distance
- Triage players CAN NOT WARN team mates of enemy flank/sneak attacks
- Embed will signal a respawn every 5-15 minutes or when they determine it is safe and fair to respawn
- Players will return their red rag to their pocket/pouch and return to play
RESPAWN CAMPING
1. Eneny players may not follow enemy Triages with the intent to attack players immediately after they respawn.
- Respawning players should be given a fair amount of time and space to seek cover.
ALT RULE: EMBED DEATH
1. If the Embed is killed the team adds additional time to the next respawn period as a penalty (ie. 10 more minutes)
- The Embed will wait with the other players in the TRIAGE and respawn with them at the next period
