I have been playing for a few years now and I am looking into trying something new. I really would like to try my hand at sniping. I am aware of how difficult it is so it seems like a nice challenge. I am looking for a good mid level sniper rifle. Any opinions on the G&G G96? (http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?c ... b041e97683)

They seem to appreciate it over at the Sniper forums. Of course, you'll never be allowed to shoot someone at a game with something that shoots that hot. The problem with gas guns is their inconsistency in FPS and accuracy due to the temperature changes of the gas. Especially with a sniper rifle this is no good. The number one part of being a sniper and maintaining accuracy is being consistent. Religiously consistent.
If you are willing to make the HPA or Cold Shot modifications, it might be a gun worth having to shoot at a game. As far as long shots on paper targets, it should be fun to own.
