How do I upgrade my stock TM Mp5 A4 to 375fps

Post by HannibaL »

I want to upgrade my TM MP5 to shoot 375fps and I've scoured the internet for info. However I keep getting conflicting info from all these talking heads. Right now it's stock, and uses a large 8.4v 2000 MAh battery,

So far re: upgrades, this is what I've found. Please advice:

- M110, M120 or Prometheus spring
- Get metal metal bushings
-Systema Polycarbonate Piston (ZS-05-01)
-Systema Torque Up Ratio Gear Set (ZS-02-12)
- 9.6v 1050Mah NiMH Battery

Thanks!

I would not upgrade your TM MP5. It's an awesome gun as it is for CQB (and there are tons of new CQB fields around NYC) and though it has low FPS, it's hop-up is great allowing it excellent range and accuracy despite the slower BB speed.

If you "upgrade" your gearbox, be prepared for a much less reliable gun with breakdowns every 30,000-50,000 rounds like most upgraded guns.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Moondog. Maybe I'll just save up and get a shiny new M16 instead.
